The Amazons - My Blood
Reading rockers The Amazons are back, doing what they do best – and better than ever before – with their latest single, “My Blood”. Anthemic riffs pulse through the veins of the song, and at the very heart of it all are Matt Thomson’s commanding vocals. His lyricism is at its richest; “My Blood” is born out of the viscerality of belief, that gut defiance that outweighs reason. Produced by Royal Blood’s Mike Kerr, featuring their drummer Ben Thatcher and also featuring bewitching vocals from singer-songwriter Ella McRobb, the lifeblood (ha) of “My Blood” is its rejoice in the shared language of rock and roll. Shaping up to be their strongest release yet, The Amazons’ fourth studio album, “21st Century Fiction” is out on May 9th.
