Canadian punk rockers PUP are set to make a triumphant return to Australia following their last visit in 2022, while New Zealand fans are ready to finally get a taste of their legendary live shows. Presented by XIII Touring and Destroy All Lines, the announcement of their tour back in March sparked anticipation amongst the punk scene down under, with their Melbourne show already running low on tickets.

The Toronto based four-piece will be celebrating their upcoming album “Who Will Look After The
Dogs”, out May 5th. Described as a culmination of the band’s past decade of constant touring, and their palpable, livewire chemistry, the 12 track LP is one of their most vulnerable to date.
Since being named as one of Rolling Stone’s break out rock acts of 2014, the group has gone on to support big-name acts such as Jimmy Eat World, Sum 41 and The Hives. Their festival checklist continues to grow after playing renowned shows including Lollapalooza, Vans Warped Tour, Reading and Leeds Festival, and certainly more to come.
It’s clear the band is also anticipating their return, captioning the tour post on Instagram that
“Australia is one of our favourite places to play”. While calling out Aussie punters saying, “Also no
more shoe-ies? shoeys? shoe-ees. You can do them (live your truth) but I’m done drinking slop out of strangers’ shoes. I’ve done it enough for one lifetime. God I love touring”.
