On the fifteenth stop of their HYPERYOUTH tour, the dynamic duo Joey Valence & Brae lit up Newport Music Hall in Columbus, OH, on October 18, 2025, celebrating the release of their latest album, HYPERYOUTH. This new project blends themes of growing up (but not too much) with the electrifying pulse of club music and their show here in Columbus definitely captured that vibe perfectly.

The doors opened up at 7 PM, and opener AG Club hit the stage around 8 PM. The duo, made up of Jody Fontaine and Baby Boy, wasted no time bringing the energy. Their set was a standout moment in itself. Jody even opened up a mosh pit to get the crowd moving. Unfortunately, their performance was cut short, and they exited without a word, a true Irish goodbye to say the least.
Fifteen minutes before the main event, Ewook took the stage for a quick DJ set to get the crowd amped. Then at exactly 9 PM, Joey and Brae exploded onto the stage with their title track “HYPERYOUTH,” and from that moment on, it was pure chaos in the best way of course.

Their setlist featured a mix of new tracks from HYPERYOUTH and fan favorites from earlier albums like PUNK TACTICS and No Hands. The energy in Newport was off the charts. The crowd never stopped moving, dancing, jumping, moshing. Joey and Brae did exactly what they came to do and that's to make people move.Joey even paused the show at one point to check on the crowd’s well-being, making sure everyone was safe and good to go.
That level of care, combined with their high-octane performance, made the night feel both wild and welcoming. The show was unforgettable. If you're into club beats, nostalgic vibes, and just want to dance like no one’s watching, catching Joey Valence & Brae live is a must. As Joey said himself Columbus might’ve just been their best crowd yet.
