Laneway has carved out a distinctive niche as the heart of Australia’s indie scene, where music, art and fashion converge in perfect unison each summer. With the Aussie dates allowing 16+ entry, for many, Laneway Festival represents that pivotal first festival experience.
Celebrating its milestone 21st anniversary in 2026, all stops have been pulled out for the upcoming lineup.

Midwest princess Chappell Roan is set to headline, after claiming the #1 spot in 2024’s Hottest 100 with her hit “Good Luck, Babe!” Australian audiences are eagerly anticipating her return.
Joining her on the mainstage, we have singer-songwriter and indie/alt icon Role Model, as well as genre-defying pop queen Pinkpantheress, critically-acclaimed band Wet Leg, and the dynamic rock prowess of Wolf Alice.
Swedish rappers Yung Lean and Bladeee are also teaming up for a rare joint performance - exclusive to Laneway.
Lucy Dacus, Alex G, Benee, Cavetown, The Dare, Gigi Perez, and Mt Joy are just a couple more standout acts on the roster.
As always, a stack of homegrown talent will be representing the Australia scene with Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Shady Nasty, The Belair Lipbombs, Blusher & more.
The festival kicks off in February in Auckland, New Zealand, travelling through Australia to the Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and wrapping things up in Perth.
After the success of 2025’s run, with the likes of Charli XCX, Djo, and Clairo headlining and over 200,000+ attendees, tickets are expected to fly.
Pre-sale goes live Tuesday 23 Sep at 10am, AEST. General sale is open from Wednesday 24 Sep at 10am, AEST.
