MUST-SEES | We've Only Just Begun 2024

We’ve Only Just Begun is an annual three-night festival held at the iconic music venue Whelan’s, located in the heart of Dublin city. This year's festival takes place from the 8th to the 10th of August. Spread across two stages, this festival brings together 30 bands & solo acts to play throughout an entire weekend.


In previous years, the main room has seen headline acts like Pillow Queens, Sorcha Richardson, SPRINTS, Soda Blonde, AIMÉE, Rosie Carney, and Cathy Davey, captivating audiences with their stunning performances. Meanwhile, the second stage is dedicated to showcasing some of the most exciting up-and-coming acts in the Irish music scene.



THURSDAY

Dream Boy's synth-pop sound is irresistibly catchy and full of nostalgic vibes. Their vibrant stage presence and infectious tunes are sure to get the crowd dancing. With a knack for writing songs that stick in your head, Dream Boy is an act you won't want to miss.

FRIDAY

Stella and the Dreaming bring a mix of soulful vocals and dreamy pop arrangements to the stage. Their heartfelt performances are both powerful and soothing, making them a standout act.




SATURDAY

Kicking off our saturday must-sees are The Cliffords, a powerhouse trio blending gritty rock with catchy pop sensibilities. Their energetic performances and infectious hooks have quickly earned them a dedicated following. Expect a set full of anthemic choruses and unforgettable guitar riffs that will get the crowd moving.



CABL's unique blend of indie rock and electronic music sets them apart from the crowd. Their infectious energy and engaging stage presence ensure a memorable live show. With catchy melodies and thought-provoking lyrics, CABL is a band that’s sure to leave a lasting impression.
