As the later half of the tour had come and gone, both Peach Pit and Briston Maroney, along with the band BNNY as their opener, brought the Long Hair, Long Life Tour to a packed Southside Ballroom in the heart of Dallas, Texas. Whether you were there to rock out with BNNY and their politically charged opener, vibing out in the swamp with Briston Maroney, or dancing along to Peach Pit’s many indie hits, there was truly a little something for everyone to enjoy.

Peach Pit’s main set was a joy from start to finish. Surprising the crowd with a cover of Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” and the late Her’s “What Once Was” was unexpected, but fit the vibe of the rest of their setlist so perfectly. As the show closed out, frontman Neil Smith serenaded the fans with an acoustic version of “Peach Pit”, along with recounting the heartfelt, yet comedic beginnings of the band. Ending the night with “Tommy’s Party”, the pit danced and gave it their all one last time.
