James Bay made his return to Washington, D.C. yet again on his Up All Night tour. Hunter Metts opened up the show with soft vocals and a lovely acoustic performance.
James' performance of the evening included songs from all albums and eras. He sang plenty of "deep cuts," as he called them, as well as songs from his newest album, Changes All The Time.
I've seen James in concert a few times over the years, and I always make a point to get tickets to his shows if he is in the area. He is one of my favorite artists to see live, and he quite literally never disappoints. He's incredibly talented with his vocals and playing his guitars alongside his equally talented bandmates.
Seeing him in the year 2025 was no different than any other year. He performed amazingly as always, and the sold-out crowd felt his energy and gave it right back.
James even sang The Elephant, a song off his newest album, for the first time ever in front of a crowd this evening. He also may or may not have had the lyrics printed out for himself, just in case!
Overall, the evening was filled with great music and great energy. As long as James continues to tour, I will continue to show up!
