GALLERY & REVIEW | Flaming Heart Fest 2025 by Carly Villiers

Carly Villiers

Flaming Heart Festival 2025 was nothing short of a vibrant experience, combining tasty beers, asian fusion delights, live painting and a diverse lineup of local music to create another unforgettable event. All made possible by the wonderful Sophie Ryder of Flaming Heart Records & The Spangled Drongo Brewery team!

Nestled in the cow-filled fields of Burringbar, festival-goers arrived at the venue in the midday heat, keen for a day rich in electrifying sounds. It was truly heartwarming to see so many enthusiastic families and groups of friends gathered for the all-ages show. Raffle tickets for PUPA’s live painting were selling rapidly, the Vivid Photo Booth was pumping out memorable photostrips, people huddled around Badlands Vinyl’s stall to snag their favorite records, and Oki Food provided folks with an array of mouth-watering Japanese-fusion cuisine.

The atmosphere was certainly set, and as everyone settled in with their delicious drink selections from the Gin Experience and Spangled Drongo bars - 2pm had rolled around and it was already time for the first act!

Brave Daisy

An electric start to the day, Brave Daisy quickly got the crowd moving with their unique indie-rock style. Proving themselves as an up and coming local force to keep an eye on.

Eyesite

As always, the boys poured nothing but passion into every moment on stage. Slamming each note and lyric with intention and unmistakable Eyesite energy.

Mr Finn:

Purely ethereal. Mr Finn offered a familiar experience - there’s something magical about witnessing a band just before they break through to that next level within the scene.

Off Judy

Raw, loud, and intense - Off Judy reignited the crowd’s energy as the crowd settled into the afternoon, drawing punters into the mosh pit with their infectious and chaotic sound.

Thirst Trap

There’s no mistaking a roaring crowd when Thirst Trap grace a lineup. Their genre bending-sounds and captivating stage-presence was more than enough to set Burringbar Hall alight.

Mid Drift

Closing out the night, lead singer Sarah’s flawless vocals left the crowd in awe. The band played together seamlessly, delivering a long-awaited set of their sun-soaked tunes with effortless liveliness and authenticity.
