Set against the breathtaking canyons and vineyards of Galicia, the 17º Ribeira Sacra Festival once again proved why it's one of Spain’s most distinctive boutique music events. From July 18 to 20, 2025, the festival blended live music, local gastronomy, and immersive experiences in a celebration of place and culture.
Julieta Venegas enchanted audiences in the barrel-filled halls of Regina Viarum, while The Jayhawks, Exonvaldes, and Ángel Stanich brought indie energy to sunset stages overlooking the Sil River. Concerts on catamarans turned the river into a moving amphitheater, and acoustic sessions in historic bodegas delivered goosebumps.
Beyond the music, the festival offered guided tastings, yoga in the vineyards, and storytelling sessions that explored the region’s memory and craft. With a capped capacity and a strong sustainability ethos, Ribeira Sacra didn’t just host a festival—it cultivated an experience rooted in the land.
Relive the highlights captured by Mattias MonsterKid, featuring performances from Wings of Desire, The Jayhawks, Alondra, Ángel Stanich, Pava, Pablo Valle, Cosmic Wacho, and Julieta Venegas.
