Welcome to our brand-new interview series, "1 Band - 2 Photos - 3 Questions"! And what better way to kick things off than with a band that's not exactly fond of photo shoots - Fat Dog! Despite their reluctance, we can't help but adore them for their infectious tunes and the hilarious photos they somehow manage to pull off. They're the perfect mix of talent and humor, and we're thrilled to have them as our first feature.

3 Questions
HOW DO YOU APPROACH PHOTO SHOOTS AND DO YOU ENJOY THE PROCESS?
We normally can’t even organise ourselves enough to all be at the photoshoot at the same time. Generally we hate them because photographs steal a part of your soul forever and that’s a bummer, but they’re a necessary part of this industry so there’s nothing we can really do about it. We try to lean on the more funny side of photos, because we think artists who take themselves so seriously are often pricks, just make us wear shit and we’ll do it but we won’t be happy about it really.
WHAT CAN PHOTOGRAPHERS EXPECT WHEN THEY ACCOMPANY YOU BACKSTAGE AT A GIG OR ON TOUR?
We do the damn job and we try to do it well. Sometimes we do some exercises but normally it’s the last minute shit or piss and a hastily rolled cigarette you’ll be privy to.
WHAT KIND OF PHOTO WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE TAKEN OF YOURSELF?
Take a photo of us on the top of a mountain in wheelchairs, butt naked, with hospital orderlies about to push us off the edge, that’s what it feels like for us most of the time. Maybe we’ll be able to slide down the snow covered peaks, or maybe we’ll be broken by the magnificent rocks that formed millions of years ago. Let fate decide.
