Ricardo Choy-Kifox

Hi there! My name is Ricardo, I’m a music photographer based in Lima, Peru. My passion is capturing and documenting the performances and the atmosphere of live music events. I fell in love with music when I was 10 years old. At the time, I spent all my money on albums and rock magazines. I grew up reading magazines like Hit Parader, Metal Hammer, Metal Edge… and enjoying all those pictures of my favorite bands. I studied photography in the early 90’s and became a photojournalist. I worked for local newspapers and got to shoot for the Associated Press as a local stringer in Peru. I’ve been shooting concerts for 30 years now and my photos have been featured in music publications in my country and abroad.
