I have been photographing local musicians in the greater Austin, Texas environment for 4.5+ years. I am passionate about capturing that moment when the musician(s) lose themselves to the music. Within the past year, I have started photographing them in my stuidio.
A great photograph does more than document; it invites the viewer into a conversation with the moment, encouraging interpretation and reflection. It asks questions, stirs emotions, and challenges assumptions. There is something about capturing that one instant whether it is a fleeting glance, a fleeting gesture, or a quiet scene that allows it to resonate far beyond its physical form.
