Chris Patmore

I started shooting bands in the 1970s/early ’80s, but life took me along another route until 2012 when my love for photographing live music was rekindled. I've been at it constantly since shooting around 400-500 bands every year, mostly on the London indie/grassroots scene. I have been a house photographer for some of the city's most iconic venues, as well as contributing to a variety of music blogs and working directly with bands, labels and promoters. I shoot both digital and film (I'm old, not a hipster). I always prefer to shoot stills, but will shoot video if asked nicely.
