Charlie Zappoli

My name is Charlie Zappoli, I was born* on September 23, 2004 and I'm from Bologna, and currently I'm studying Photography at the LABA in Rimini.
My passion for photography was born when I was about 12 years old, when I first picked up a camera. I haven't stopped photographing since: I began exploring this visual language on my own, feeding on documentaries, exhibitions, and the work of photographers I followed online.
Over time, I have always traveled with my camera around my neck, trying to tell the world through my gaze. For me, each shot is an attempt to capture the essence of places and people, returning images that are personal but also capable of speaking to the viewer.
Today my goal is to turn this passion into a profession. I dream of traveling the world, telling stories that deserve to be known and valued.
But my great passion has always been concerts, and being able to immortalize them and live for work would be my greatest dream. Since I was little, I have dreamed of immortalizing my favorite artists around the world, and over the years I have participated in many live shows. Capturing the energy of the stage and the connection between artist and audience is an experience that moves me every time.
