ABOUT ME
I’m Red, a Boston-based music photographer with over 15 years of experience capturing the vibrant energy and genuine moments that characterize live performances. Focusing on independent and underground scenes, I’ve established a reputation for portraying concerts through a distinctive storytelling lens, bringing the music to life for both the audience present and those watching from afar.
My photography combines technical skills with a profound passion for music, resulting in images that depict the performance and capture the spirit of the moment. Whether at an electrifying festival or an intimate club show, I excel in utilizing available light to take candid, dynamic shots that resonate deeply. Clients and collaborators often commend my keen eye for detail, perfect timing, and ability to connect with artists and audiences.
Beyond live music photography, I also have a background in music journalism and am skilled in crafting compelling narratives. I adeptly blend visuals with powerful writing to create engaging stories. My work embodies a dedication to inclusivity and authenticity, strongly emphasizing supporting LGBTQ+ artists and underrepresented voices in the music scene.
From festivals to tours, I thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments where adaptability and professionalism are crucial. My aim is always to provide photos and immersive experiences that enhance the vibrancy of live music and resonate with audiences around the globe.
Let’s collaborate to elevate your next event, festival, or publication with visuals and narratives that create a lasting impression.
