ABOUT ME
Hi! My name’s Makayla Ford. I am a concert and music photographer originally from Australia and currently living abroad in London, UK.
Throughout my life I've had the opportunity to live in many different countries around the world. From the constant change and moving, music became something that brought me comfort. It was a way for me to keep consistency and create friendships and connections in the new countries I moved to.
I believe music is such a beautiful way for artists to express themselves and I love to see the way their songs resonate with and connect their audience.
I aim to show the impact music has on us through my photos. I try to capture the live, raw emotions placed into the music by the artists, and the reflection this has on the audience.
