Kyle Burgess
ABOUT ME
My name is Kyle Burgess and I am originally from Essex where I studied Moving Image after a move to Scotland in 2014 I began looking at different avenues towards becoming a professional photographer, I worked for a short time for a few different online magazines shooting live bands, as well as smaller rising bands I have shot such notable, established bands like Belle & Sebastian and The Gaslight Anthem.
After getting a taste for this I began looking into further education to develop my skills.
In 2016 I enrolled in Forth Valley college to study photography at the HND level. During this time, I began working with brands Thom & Tea, Tryst Brewery creating promotional work and SSACHS Magazine shooting products and showcasing new clothing brands and businesses in Scotland. In 2018 I finished my HND and started my BA (hons) in photography at Edinburgh Napier University, during this time I began focusing my effort on portraiture and editorial work. In 2019 I began assisting Sonja Blietschau a headshot/unit stills photographer based in Falkirk, helping with all sorts of shoots.
