Hello, my name is Kevin Healy and I am located in the central region of New Jersey, which is home to some of the most outstanding music venues on the East Coast of the United States. For over a year now, I have been photographing events at various venues in New York and New Jersey, including esteemed locations such as The Stone Pony, Asbury Lanes, The Saint, The House of Independents, and The Brooklyn Monarch. Through these experiences, I have had the opportunity to capture musicians and artists in their element, delivering captivating performances that showcase their craft.
My passion for alternative, rock, punk, and ska music is reflected in my photographic work, which I refer to as "Moments, Movements, and Music of Punk Rock Photography." I have been sharing these experiences with fans from all over the world through my platform, PunkRockPhotographer, and now internationally through the UK-based publication ClickRollBoom E-Zine.
My interest in photography began in my teenage years when I experimented with various types of cameras, including 35mm box cameras, polaroids, and my first digital Nikon 5mp CoolPix camera. Over time, this passion grew and in 2013, I obtained an Associate's degree in the Science of Photography from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online. Today, I take great pleasure in creating images that communicate and capture the emotion and passion of artists, musicians, and models within the Punk Rock genre, inspiring others through my work.
