ABOUT ME
Bianca Maria Lecchini was born in Parma on the 3rd of November, youngest of four siblings. She fell in love since early age with photography, aided by her sister who also is an appreciated photographer and model.
After graduating from a science oriented high school, she begins her studies at the University of Parma. On parallel she starts develops alternative Polaroid manipulation techniques and receives praises for her daring and original works.
The themes she explores are mainly linked to self and body acceptance and the implications of this sometimes painful process have in fact a central role in her production.
Thanks to her shoots and artworks that portray bands and concerts she has been receiving recognition from the blooming Italian independent music scene, especially in the areas of Mantova and Brescia. With her spontaneous shots both analog and digital, she created bands' covers of the underground scene in the Northen Italy.
