ABOUT ME

Livemusic-lover from Saarbrücken/Germany. I listen to a wide spectrum of music since I was a kid. I visited my first rock music concert in 1989. I love the wild ride of punk, alternative, hardcore, rock and any kind of metal live performance. I tried to be a musician (singer) in the early nineties and had four live-on-stage experiences. That band split-of and life goes on but I had no year without a concert or festival since. Around 2009 I tired some concert pictures at shows of local bands, but noticed very quickly I needed more training and a better camera. 2013 I bought my first real camera but still had a lot to learn. I bought some online courses at foto-tv and I am a member of HTBARP -Shooting The Rockstars (Matthias Hombauer). With the musicmag neckbreaker, i had often the chance to shoot festivals and club gigs. But often, I just took pics of underground bands and not only just for training.I think, if you are able to take proper pics in a small poor lighted club, you have no problems in a big concert hall or at a big festival. I also managed it, to have some of my photos published as an album-coverart and even as a trading card with shadebeast .
I am married and my wife also loves taking pictures at shows. We often work as a team. Looking forward for the next concerts to come!
